Antelope Stag location...Follow

#1 Feb 25 2011 at 4:21 AM Rating: Good
Antelope Stags according to YG and ZAM are found around Camp Glory in Coerthas. I have been running around there for ages and apart from one stag near where the raptors spawn I have not seen any. Does anyone know a better spawn location they would be willing to share or even PM me with? It's driving me nuts trying to farm these things.

I could be crazy, but if I remember correctly, there's a lot southwest(ish) of Camp Riversmeet (way west portion of Coerthas).

If you're running from Dragonhead, it's past the huge bridge, past the Mountain Peistes, and I think there might be some drakes around there, but I can't remember. It's been a long time since I've been out there.

But yeah, I'd check with Riversmeet.

Thank you Ark. Yes there are a few spawns of antelope stags directly south of Riversmeet. Only problem I'm having now is getting them to drop a horn. I have been fighting for quite a while and am approcimately 0/15. :(

You need to incap/break the horn for it to drop. If your sig shows all your highest Disciples, then you don't have any WS to incap head.

Ahha I see, I thought as I had an Incapaciating move already (in the form of Flashfreeze II) that it would suffice.

AFAIK, which might not be true, Flashfreeze is temporary incap >_> not permanent incap.

There used to be stags north west of Glory, however, I believe they were all removed when they did the mob replacement.

The thing about Flashfreeze is that:

1. OP said he didn't get any Skull Eyepatch with knocking Skelly heads off using Flashfreeze. Even after the Nov/Dec patch my friend still got +3 Eyepatch from Skelly using Concussive Blow II.
2. Incap legs on Great Buffalo several times and makes it fall over and over. See here, if it's WS I haven't seen any case that you can incap a specific part again after it is "broken". Each part has HP, and if you do enough dmg on that part it will break, such is the case of WS.
3. The description itself.

That's why I believe FF is Temporary and not Permanent. Might be very wrong though.

I went to Mor Dhona and Coerthas at level 5. I remember seeing the stags at the entrance of Coerthas Via Mor Dhona. I did not expect they aggro which they did and one shot me for almost 2k dmg.

There are a lot of antelope stags on the way to Boulder Downs from Camp Glory. The majority of the stags are North of Boulder Downs, much easier to get to than Riversmeet. Also , once you reach the stags they are they only thing in that direct vicinity aside from a few mushrooms. Good luck :)
