Issue with FFXIVsig on Chrome for Mac?Follow

For the past two weeks, the ffxivsig feature is not loading on my MacBook - and neither are avatars of premium members. They used to load just fine, so not sure if anything changed server-side, or if my client has become corrupt. I'm running Chromium 7 on Snow Kitty.

They work fine on my smartphone (Android 2.2) and on my PC (Chromium 10 on Win7).

Is anyone else having an issue?

Nope. No problems at all. Try doing a complete clear of your cache.
Make sure your not using 3rd party addons for Chrome like Adblock Plus, it's very buggy on chrome for mac.

Using Mac OSX Snow Leopard 10.6.6 myself on Chrome and Safari.

Why Chrome though? Safari is way faster on a mac. Even faster than firefox, and has better compatibility with things like HTML5.
If your on a mac, you really should be using safari. Not so much on a windows machine though :D (It is fast on windows though!)

Thanks for sharing your experience.

I have a first edition MacBook and Chromium is a lot faster than Safari for what it's worth. I've benchmarked both the JS engine and the DOM parser.

In any case I'll try a complete cache purge and if that doesn't work, I'll upgrade the browser. I'm overdue for doing so, anyone.

Some things can slow it down and stuff. I know that, with the exception of Firefox, adblocking programs really slow down macs.

Are you using Safari 5? If google chrome is faster for you by all means. Everyones internet experience will vary based on the websites they visit. I've found Firefox to be really slow on a mac for some reason. Well, not -really- slow but it has a slow startup time where Safari and Chrome are instant.

Updates should help you out though, Chromes not a bad browser by any means. I see your sig just fine so it's working alright.

Just checked this page on Chrome for Mac and no issues. My chrome version is 9.0.597.107
