We're in the lead in threads created:

English Speaking: 266
Japanese Speaking: 166
French Speaking: 22
German Speaking: 12

It a landslide...I wonder why the German and French don't have much to say.

We? What's this we you speak of? Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this ZAM and not Lodestone?

Bad form, Mack.

Smiley: cry well I meant English speaking forums but I wouldn't be surprised if ZAM users make up majority English speakers on Lodestone forums.

On french forum, we're, for now, succeeding in keeping 1 thread by subject.
And each player doesn't open his own thread for his own (mixed) suggestions.

For now...

English is considered to be the third most spoken language in the world (per capita) so this is not so strange.

1- Chinese (Cantonese/Mandarin)
2- Spanish
3- English

Since there isn't any of the other two on the forums then this is as expected (imo).

Probably because the rest of Europe that isn't German or French, are posting on the English forums, seeing as that's much more likely to be their second language.

Its nice to see that English is in the lead, but most of the posts seem redundant. I've seen multiple of almost all threads from Chocobo's to adding LS commands.

Again its nice, but it seems more like people want to add their 2cents before looking at whats out there already.

Maybe it's because the rest of the world is mainly posting relevant and unique ideas towards fixing the game, whilst the majority of English posts are about multiple mounts, moghouses that you warp to without anima and return to the spot you left from, making the game more like XI, making the game more like game X, making the game like game X but here's some keywords to call those features so it's not copying, etc...

Well I'm pretty sure the French have given up, as they are wont to do. I have no witty quip for the Germans.

There are things you can't do on the official forums that you can do here. Such as swearing (creatively) and trashing SE.

With that I'd like to say, "Lick my balls, SE!" just because I can.

I see what you did there... The Frogs are used to the jokes (and to be fair it's usually their govt, not the typical citizens...) but any German jokes would be um... well we've moved past that :p

Know how to **** a true Frenchman off? Make them watch Bottleshock... know how to **** ANY teenager off? Make them watch Bottleshock... (I personally enjoyed the movie on my last flight to Iraq, it was that or some black and white documentary...)

I'm seeing a lot of the same threads in the English forum. Could be why it's ahead on Japan forums.

The sissy french saved our butts from our British overlords in the American Revolution. without them we'd all be riding lifts with bad teeth. just saying.

also, germans have no emotions, americans are fat and stupid, and all asians are great at math.

Also, it looks like their only English speaking reps are American, which is kind of annoying. Don't get me wrong, I'm not hating on Americans, but their working day is gonna be night time for the English. Meaning we won't see any updates on the forum until night time...

The "recent" section shows only about 30 people less than usual (241 down from 270) here on Zam... and I think that FFXIV itself killed more population here than its official forums ever will.

"I'm not bi-polar, what the **** does that even mean?? I'm bi-winning! I win here and I win there..." ahaha I couldn't stop laughing after this one, this guy may have lost his mind but he's entertaining.

All I can say is if the Lodestone forums draw some of the trolls away from ZAM, let the Lodestone forums be full of repetitive and useless posts. At least that means we can hopefully have better threads here, and less derailment.

Completely agree. Now we just need some new stuff to talk about. ;)

March update. (Can I have it?)

There should be a minimum of one more this month even if the late Feb. one did come in March. Although, considering the scope of the changes they are planning, I wonder if the little bit here and there approach will continue to be used.
