Crafting items 10 levels lower than your rankFollow

I think SE should make it where you can basicly have an auto craft for items 10 or 15 ranks below your current skill level. I know about hasty hands and no this is not a good alternative. There should be a way to toggle the auto craft on and off so if you are trying to craft a +1 or +2 or +3 you can do it manually. The autocraft should have 100% success rate too.

You raise a good point. Currently it is still possible to HQ using Hasty Hands... albeit it is a rare occurance. Personally, I believe that they should remove the ability to HQ while using Hasty Hand altogether and increase it's success rate when your rank is much greater than the synthesis your performing. Breaking Crystals into shards at r35+ alchemy should be a guarenteed thing. Since if you do it manually you will never fail unless you are purposefully trying to. By removing any possibility for HQ I think it would be a fair enough balance.

Nice ideas, but it doesn't seem that SE works this way. There will always be a chance of failure no matter how high your rank is. In FFXI, I would occasionally get breaks on a lvl 24 synth(Silent Oil) at lvl 98 Alchemy. I believe that the RNG is something that SE is married to and will not abandon anytime soon.

This was one thing I disliked about XI; being ever level 50 in clothcraft and still breaking level 1-10 synths occasionally.

I can steam crabs, I can fry fish, I can bake a cake, I can make stir fry.... I'm not going to randomly **** up a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. It's just not going to happen.

I think that any craft that is 10 levels or more below your skill should have a 1% failure rate at best and any craft that is 20 levels or below should have a 0% failure rate. Barring that, I think an option to automatically craft an item that's 10 or 20 levels below you should have an auto craft option that requires no input, has 0% chance of failure, and has 0% chance of HQ. I think that's reasonable enough of a request.

I don't even mind having to go through the process, especially with HH. One thing I'd like to see is just an option after a craft to repeat last craft, without going through 3 menus. Just one click to do the same synth you did last.
