Like Final Fantasy XI, the game specs will be extremely high for the time, but in about 5 years, an average machine can run it on max settings with little to no issues. Tanaka also expressed interest in making a benchmark program available.

My boss quit a few months ago, before he left, my coworker asked him if we could 'upgrade' our PCs. He said to order whatever we wanted. We both got i7s, SSDs, dual 460s, and 12GB of DDR3-2000 RAM and the rest of it. I could probably take it home for weekends but its pretty heavy. I just borrow the 460s once in a while.

How does it play on your laptop? I have a similar spec'd one cept it has 8GB ram and an SSD ... it plays ok at 1280x720 but doesn't look that great. Looks better @ 1920x1080 but gets pretty choppy. I think I have the same CPU and my GPU is the same too I'm pretty sure.... its a Dell studio XPS
