Just for the forums, I wonder if a similar regular maintenance will happen for the game.

Doubt it, but I wonder what the **** they need weekly downtime for on a web boards app... Maybe they'll be pushing weekly updates or something?

If you are on the forums regularly you can see that it isn't very well moderated. I am assuming that they will take it down to thoroughly moderate it once a week for anything missed. Lots of threads that need to be moved or locked. Rampant trolling. Etc. It will get better probably if they keep a closer eye on it.

I know that I'm going to be slammed to be insensitive di** for saying this but don't you think it's about time SE posted some news about their schedule?

I understand that they've had to re-schedule the patches but some info on when to maybe wait for them would be better than nothing.

F5ing the Lodestone during this week has made me feel like it's a bit desperate hobby.

No, that is actually quite expected from you.

But the lodestone is not really the place for the first news anymore.

Hello everyone,

We have been continuing to poke Dev. teams to give more details on the upcoming change on FINAL FANTASY XIV so that we can give a glimpse of them to the players. As of now, we are hoping that we can give sneakpeaks to you all sometime next week. Hopefully the question on the size of the icon can be revealed, along with many other questions players are having. We will give an update once more details become available so please look forward to it!

Oh, and we are continuing to look forward to receive more feedbacks on the game from you all.

Can you wait until next week, or is this unacceptable and an outrage?

No next week isn't an outrage just a bit late.
