At some point we are going to be getting a house with storage functionality.
Will it be a personal house?
Or will it be a shared company house, where we get our own room or lockers?
Will we be able to spruce that environment up like Better home and gardens?

Last night me and a friend were discussing storage/inventory ideas. And I was thinking grandiose along the lines of gear changing on the fly with classes. Another idea I had was statue replicas of your character in your house. You set what gear you want a certain class to have equipped. And you click once on that statue, instantly everything on the statue gets equipped on you.

My friend threw a couple of scenarios my way.
What if you are playing a different role? Are you going to use the same equipment? Is the game going to remember every gear change per role for every class?
What if your inventory is full? Is your inventory going to toss items to make room for the gear instant gear change?
I became stumped, then she offered a more simpler but good idea in my opinion.

She said I always wished mmos offered more custom sub folders for inventory. Just like many Microsoft windows applications have. Each folder is collpased until you expand them individually. You choose what folders you want for each item. XI offered folders, but it stopped at house then sub house.

Main Folder- House
Sub Folder- Name of Class or whatever you choose
File- Item grouped into categories you ordain

What do you think?
We also talked about a delivery system. But I posted that on Eorzeapedia/suggestions/Market Wards Federation awhile back.

This kind of hope almost makes me sad...

Honestly, from what we've seen, the developers are barely able to re-size spells and alter monsters' name-plates; I'm not sure in-depth player housing is worth discussing any more than FFXVI at this point.
