Eh.. sorry but I think anyone would give their buddypass to a friend to have them try the game.. rather than a complete stranger who just made his first post requesting a buddypass.. :/

The game will cost you 15 euro. If you cannot afford that then I'd suggest mowing some lawns.

Also if you could check out these forums you know this game is pretty much the same as it was released.
So (I think) you wouldn't like it anyhow.

This game is nothing like when it was released. There might not be some uber content, but don't try and tell anyone the game is the same as launch and expect not to get laughed at! (I've played since Sept. 22nd, I would know.)

The changes are pretty minor looking at the bigger picture and ultimately it's still crap, hence why a monthly subscription game is still free 6 months after release lol Even Square says it's not worth paying for.

I would give you mine but I wasted $60 on it so why should you get a free ride, the point of buddy passes is to get a friend to try it if you think they would enjoy it not some cheapskate on the internet.

Preludes... How long has it been since you've played the game? They've made leaps and bounds compared to what it was at launch. Granted, there isn't much content, but other than that, it's like a completely different game.

You're both right. The game has improved a lot. Unfortunately, it was so terrible to start with that it's still pretty bad. I can easily see Prelude's point that if it wasn't good then and still isn't good now, then in a meaningful sense nothing has changed.

The buddy pass is not a "trial key" it is a code for the retail version of the game.

Bottom line, nobody's gonna give you a buddy pass. If you want to play go buy the game. Also if an admin reads this, can we get a rule on these forums against asking for buddy passes? I know I can't be the only one who's tired of seeing these threads pop up. The buddy pass is a full copy of the game. It only comes with the Collector's Edition of Final Fantasy XIV. At this time there are no trial keys for the game.

I'm happy people have interest in the game, but if you really want to support the developers go out and buy the game. Standard Edition should be dirt cheap (Wasn't the Collector's going for like 30 bucks?) so you're not really wasting any money.

I guess even RMT are getting tired of having to buy the game.
