What are the penalties of getting reported in the game?Follow

I had a recent verbal joust against my linkshell leader and I heard him mention afterwards something about calling the GM. I am not completely sure if it was directed towards me (which it probably is), but if it was, I'm nervous.

Will I get suspended? Will I instantly get banned? Will I simply get a warning?

I want to stay in this game...

Banned for a quarrel..? I doubt it..
Suspended..? If you've been yelling racist slurs then it can happen..
You'll most likely get warned if he actually called a GM..
Nothing if he said that just to scare you away..

I had a quarrel with some swear words. That's about it really.

You won't get banned. Worst case scenario would be that a GM reviews what was said, if you and another mutually engaged in it, probably nothing will happen. If they decide to penalize anyone, they would probably sentence you both to like, 1 hour of "time out" in GM Jail. You get transported to a boring zone and serve your time sitting around thinking about what you did.

It's not something anyone should strive for, but I wouldn't worry.

All of the botting players I've reported are still playing. So I'd only worry if your ls Leader can speak Japanese. If what your saying is really happening lol.

I doubt SE is willing to ban anyone from this game at this point, they need all the customers they can get. Even botting RMT don't get banned.

I thought you were the ultimate LS leader, why are you in an LS lead by someone else?

Reported to a GM for an argument? No, you'll be fine so long as you didn't do anything against the terms of service.

Oh wait, this is Vik asking? Yeah... I'd lock my doors, because Sage Sundi himself is going to be coming to your house; and trust me, when Sundi attacks, it's like being bitten by a hundred tiny, tiny, vindictive moogle teeth at once! Just hope he forgets the little trumpet back at the office... >_<

If only someone would make an "epic post" about how to "create the perfect linkshell," maybe linkshell leaders and members wouldn't quarrel like this. Do you know of anyone who might be able to do that, ViK?

This make believe thread calls for attention. I would suspend you just based off of your posts on ZAM let alone the things you actually do IN-GAME.
#16ViKtoricus, Posted: Apr 12 2011 at 3:55 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) No. This is something that really happened. Please don't accuse me of being a liar.
