This ain't my epic post yet. Just some random ponderings off of my brilliant mind.

- Remember the first time you ever got in a fifteen-people behest? Isn't it wonderful? It's one of FFXIV's signatures after all.

- Remember the first time you killed a peiste? It made you feel immortal didn't it?

- Remember the times when you go back to your retainer and get delighted by what you have sold?

- Remember the first time you've ever levelinked? Weren't you amazed by the multiplied SP?

- Remember the time you first fought the antling workers in Nanawa Mines? Scary isn't it?

- Remember the great moments and bondings you shared with your friends online? Priceless.

- Remember F'lhammin? She is so hot.

- Remember the music while you were creating your very first character? It's nostalgic. There's nothing like it.

- Remember the breathtaking opening scene?

- Remember buying great gear for yourself?

Post away your thoughts.

I agree a shame that they're taking this one feature we like away. Even if it's a chaotic mess I find it somehow fun.

- Remember the first time you killed a peiste? It made you feel immortal didn't it?

Sorry, missed that one.

- Remember the times when you go back to your retainer and get delighted by what you have sold?

This has NEVER happened. Not that I need gil anyway.

- Remember the first time you've ever levelinked? Weren't you amazed by the multiplied SP?

I really can't tell when this happens. At times it seems automatic and sometimes it just doesn't give me that option even though I know I have the same leve.

- Remember the time you first fought the antling workers in Nanawa Mines? Scary isn't it?

Not really. I like the enemy design but my re-spawn point is always right there. What is there to lose?

- Remember the great moments and bondings you shared with your friends online? Priceless.

Are you talking about XI? My linkshell had more members than the limit allows in the first few months. No-one is online anymore, ever.

- Remember F'lhammin? She is so hot.

Who? I'm sorry I've yet to learn a single NPC by their name.

- Remember the music while you were creating your very first character? It's nostalgic. There's nothing like it.

I agree. I remember the first time the choir kicked in. It's magical.

- Remember the breathtaking opening scene?

Yes I've yet to see how it has anything to do with the plot of the game however.

- Remember buying great gear for yourself?

OH YES. It was a great moment. I thought to myself "Now I can get the **** away from this retainer zone and I won't come back until it's absolutely necessary!"

Post away your thoughts.

Remember when SE completely dropped the ball and released this filth under a Final Fantasy title?

Remember when the NPC quests that you had been waiting for months and moths came and turned out to be just leves without cutscenes or a good plot?

Remember walking out of the town for the first time and noticing that there is no loading screen as the music just seamlessly changed to another track?

Remember when you first heard a new Final Fantasy Online was coming out so you spent close to $1000 building a new gaming rig a year early in anticipation?

Remember when the benchmark was finally released and you scored less than 1200 so you spent another $800 upgrading your rig to get ready for the uber-epicness that was supposed to be Final-Fck'n-Fantasy XIV; the follow-up to the online gaming phenomenon that ruled 60% of your thought process for years on end?

Remember when BestBuy botched your pre-order of the Collector's Edition so you drove in a desperate panic from store to store on launch day to finally find a single unclaimed copy at that shady-looking GameStop in that town you try not to go to?

Remember when after you tried like heck to love XIV but it fell short of expectations in every possible way update after update, but you can now play Crysis2 on max settings without your PC breaking a sweat?

Please don't hate, as I look back at the last few months I can laugh as I really do regret nothing!
I want XIV to be awesome; to be that game I think about all day at work! I will continue to follow it's progress as at the moment, the development is more fun to follow then actually playing the game.

No I just remember a time when, absent Vik's brilliant mind, our humble forums were devoid of such inspired topics as this heartfelt frolic down memory lane. Thankfully, Vik came along and, in addition to teaching us how to accept our places as underlings and followers that should bow before the glory of true born leaders such as himself, taught us how to reminisce as well. His every post is truly revolutionary. I'll stop now... I'm getting misty.

If you pee more often it won't get pressurized enough to mist, also try depends... they always help me when I wet myself from laughter.

I liked these responses the best; I probably would have said just about the same things had you not already posted them. XD

This...except for the Best Buy part and that I bought 2 new computers...not one.

Vik...now is not the best time for these types of threads as noone will take you seriously Not sure if you are aware...but the game is dead. Maybe not forever...but right now...dead.

I feel sorry for anyone who has to actually play with this Eliza guy.

(Now watch him put one of our responses into his sig and move on. Why hasn't Vik been banned yet? Slacker Admins are slackers.)

I don't think this kid has done anything that deserves banning, yeah he's a bit...obnoxious...but banning really? Vik, no offense, but maybe trying to make epic posts isn't your strong point...there is nothing wrong with lurking in the shadows and putting your two cents into worthwhile posts. Just calm it down a bit, not so much for our sakes...but maybe your sake?

- Remember the first time you ever got in a fifteen-people behest? Isn't it wonderful? It's one of FFXIV's signatures after all.
No. It wasn't memorable.
- Remember the first time you killed a peiste? It made you feel immortal didn't it?
Bold TextNo.
- Remember the times when you go back to your retainer and get delighted by what you have sold?
No it reminded me that there is no mailbox.
- Remember the first time you've ever levelinked? Weren't you amazed by the multiplied SP?
No, I have yet to be amazed by anything other than a few ridges overlooking uldah.
- Remember the time you first fought the antling workers in Nanawa Mines? Scary isn't it?
Not in the least.
- Remember the great moments and bondings you shared with your friends online? Priceless.
Not really. I don't even think they wanted me around.
- Remember F'lhammin? She is so hot.
Who?
- Remember the music while you were creating your very first character? It's nostalgic. There's nothing like it.
What music was that again?
- Remember the breathtaking opening scene?
It was cool. Too bad the game is nothing like it.
- Remember buying great gear for yourself?
Great gear? You mean the standard looking gear with +3 to a stat on it?

Post away your thoughts.

The word memory reminds me how good FFXI was and how disappointing this game still is, unfortunately.

Remember when you downloaded the beta, logged in, heard the familiar music, were floored by the number of classes (until you clicked DoM ...), amazed by the opening scene, stunned by the visual effects as you wandered around Gridania, and then, soon into battle, found yourself yawning and wondering when it was going to get exciting?
