Newcomer - Hello everyone :)Follow

First of all i wanted to say hello, i'm a new user on these forums and since i only bought FFXIV today i decided to create an account of these boards and hopefully meet new friends along the way :)

So as i mentioned before, i started playing FFXIV today after quitting Rift as my latest MMO i have played up to date.
I'm a veteran FFXI player, been playing for over 4 years - so it's only natural i'll pick this game sooner or later.
Regardless to the horrific reviews i decided to pick it up and try it out, so far i'm pleased with this desicion and not regreting it at all!

I was wondering if there is a nice Linkshell i could join, with nice and kind people to accept a newcomer to the game.
I did picked Cornelia as my server, i hope i've made the right choice...

There is only one thing which is bugging me so far...
While doing my land leve quest the game crashed upon me, when i relogged back - i didn't had the quest active anymore, more then that it seems like i failed it because it turned gray at the Aetheryte from which it appears that i begin all my activities from.

So hey again, and thank you for taking time and reading my thread!
