Like Final Fantasy XI, the game specs will be extremely high for the time, but in about 5 years, an average machine can run it on max settings with little to no issues. Tanaka also expressed interest in making a benchmark program available.

I just tried these. It's fun, drop rate is about what an NM would be, but respawn time is 3-10 minutes on each one :) (casual) friendly hehehe

Great work here Elionara. I came to suggest that you add the drops to the list but you already have. Nicely done!

Edit: Ah, I see you are reposting a collaboration effort from Lodestone. Still, thanks for sharing here and keeping it updated.

Pyrausta was a pretty fun and worthwhile solo on my Pugilist 30, and was kind enough to drop me the Howling Talons on the first kill, so I can't comment on the drop rate.

Nest commander is also about the same difficulty, perhaps a bit tougher as you can't avoid ant's attacks from clever positioning (unlike Puks'). 0/5 so far, and a bit of competition so I think I'll let the rank50s get their mask before I return to my soloing it :P (It takes quite a while to solo those at rank30)

Drop rates are low, at least for Kokoroon's darkshell mail. Went 3-74 on the drop o_______o Still it's a **** piece so can't complain...much.

Just took down Pyrausta, no drop but drops cottan pants and a cotton boll >.> Fight on 36 PGL took around 5ish minutes. Also it seems dia and such hit and stick fairly often even though I'm not on a mage class. Just took him down again and got cotton slops and bee basket +3 Whooop! >.>

Do anyone know the levels of these mobs? I watched 4 other people around rank 30 try and solo Sirocco and he outlasted them all.I tried to solo him twice and the battle regime thing got in the way both times ,I had no chance of winning at rank 33.

I havn't had a chance to log in since patch to go look for the NM's, but really the respawn time is that fast? Yay! So, that means one day I maybe able to camp them for a bit :D Thanks SE!

Wonder why they did that though? Is it because of the casual friendly game they are trying to portray to draw in consumers?

P.S. MWAH! XOXOXOXOXO

I'd like to see zam updated with the dropped items though, that'd be great!

It's being worked on by the zam devs Smiley: smile

They're all around 30-35, but since they're NMs, it means they're probably about 40something.

Any class that's 50 can solo all these except maybe Phaia (which a PUG can solo).

Just solo'd Nest Commander it's a forever fight @36 around 13 minutes

duo with LNC R30 was about 6-8 minutes and with a trio later we were taking it down in 3 min (3rd person was 50 LNC)

I've killed it 5 times now and no drop

Depends, the NM that are in r20 camps are easy to solo as r50, but some of the ones in r30 camps hit a lot more than non CON/THM can heal. Especially Cactuar Jack with 1000 Needle that ignore your defense.

So after a few days, it took me a total of 12 Nest Commanders to finally get my Visor. Was much easier after dinging 30 >> 34, not to mention there was virtually no competition tonight for the 7 last kills till I got the drop.

Solo'd every NM from the lvl 20 areas as R29 PUG exept Barometz. They were all kinda easy but I had to adjust my strategies on Jackanape since he steals your buff he was also the worst drop rate, 1/12, every others gave me the item in 1 or 2 kill.

So far Queen Bolette is the only one I have soloed, she is fun, but I can't imagine her being easy for anyone under 30. Her AOE TP attack is pretty brutal, and if you miss it early, you can't get out of range, and later in the fight she can spam it (she triggered in once after each hit she did for nearly 5 minutes, each time I had to unlock and run away prolonging the fight quite painfully).

That was with my GLA 34-35 (soloed her successfully at both levels, no drops, but then again was fighting her to see if I could win)
