It looks like they're changing some things due to a law in Europe.

Just incase anyone didn't get an email about this, as mine got flagged as malicious content, I thought I'd post it here incase anyone cares to read the actual legal.

Quote:
We would like to inform you that we need to update our General Terms and Conditions for electronic money services (including our Privacy Policy). These new Terms will take effect for all account holders from 1st July 2011.

The changes have been made as a result of new laws for electronic money services in Europe (called the 2nd Electronic Money Directive). The resulting changes will bring additional improvements to the protection of the interests of users of electronic money and these are outlined for you in the new version of our E-Money Account Terms of Use, which can be found by visiting our website at http://clickandbuy.com/GB_en/terms-and-conditions.html

We have also used this as an opportunity to ensure different language versions of the Terms contain the same information, and thus provide what we think is the greatest possible transparency, clarity and legal certainty worldwide.

Please note, we’re not changing our prices, and ClickandBuy electronic money transactions used to pay for online purchases continue to remain free of charge. Please note that transactions involving foreign currencies will incur a Currency Exchange Fee.

You don’t need to do anything to accept the changes to these Terms as they will automatically come into force and become part of your existing contract with us. However, we’d like to point out that you can – of course – close your ClickandBuy account free of charge by contacting us if you decide you don’t want to continue using ClickandBuy under these new Terms.

Yours sincerely

The team at ClickandBuy

Also, lulz at not reading the Terms of Service.

Yea I closed my ClickandBuy account when I left the game for a few months. Glad to be done with that. It does take a while to close the account though. So anyone planning on doing that shouldn't wait till the last minute. I had to first remove FFXIV from services to be paid for using C&B(took a week to process) before being able to officially close the account.

This shouldn't affect us, should it? I'm from US and I'm pretty sure we pay in USD not yen or whatever they have in Japan.
