Do you use a controller or mouse and keyboard?

/targetmode a will be a standard "all" at all times.

/targetmode b will allow you to use the up and down arrow keys to cycle through "friendly," "party" and "enemy" modes, then left and right will cycle through potential targets.

I've been having problems with this since the last patch. I use a controller and it is set to Targeting Mode A, but every 15 minutes or so it will automatically switch to "Enemy" when I try to talk to an NPC. The only way I've figured out to get it back to "All" is to type /tmode b and then /tmode a. Did Targeting Mode A change with the last patch or is this a glitch?

Incorrect - Targetmode A can also be cycled between the various "friendly", "all", and "enemy" options. On the gamepad, you hold down auto-run and then use the 4 buttons on the right side to swap around and then let go of autorun. It then stays locked in your selected mode. The locked method chosen is left/right d-pad, while party/self is up/down on the d-pad. This works amazing.

Even while locked to "Enemy", you can still select an NPC or PC in town that is in the center of your screen (but can't cycle between them) - this is good for short trips to the city/camp when I am too lazy to cycle to "friendly".

Ah, my bad. Sorry for the misinformation. I'm a keyboard-only player so I just assumed A was only for the "all" option.

Ok it's definitely bugged I think because I switched it over to tmode b and set it to enemy and it will change when go out of of combat to Friendly and I don't want it on friendly. I use a keyboard/mouse and my hands are no where near the arrow keys...
