I hope this is real o.o...it looks real aside from the character not doing the animation for some spells, wait who is this guy, a dev.? Couldnt he get fired releasing stuff like this?

Lol, That's Gulkeeva from my linkshell, he did a whole load of dat mining / swapping the other day and recorded them with fraps. There is one floating around with the evil dude from the r46 story mission too.

more or less some one took WS and Spell animations and then renamed them to existing animation files so when they do said skill you see whats in the other file. So what this is, is potential skills and abilities, and I must say some are quite impressive.

I saw Haymaker II and Damnation (that are quite in the game) featured in the video.

I did enjoy seeing all those spells and effects, though. Damnation II and Flashfreeze II made me pretty happy when I saw them :3

Bardic spells are used by Sylphs in-game, but it always makes me hopeful to see them again...!

The first one looks like it could be a charm animation. Also the animation at 3:03 has musical notes in it. Hmmm!

Nice find! I like most of them, but I wish they would have been more varied, but that's probably due to lack of the proper character animation.

Maybe 0.58 is Asuran Fists and also 1.53 the character seems to disappear… now if only we can find Utsusemi…

I just don't understand why they are making the effects less flashy than FFXI, do a side by side comparison, apparently im the only one such things matter to

There was a video of a guy using a bunch of enemy skills like 1k needles. He has at least 2 bars full of them and records them all and put them on youtube. It was a long time ago right after release. He ran around for a couple hours playing around with them and then told SE that he had accidentally glitched and gotten them all. A couple hours later they force logged him out and when he could log back in they took them all away. :( I've since tried looking around for the video, but I haven't been able to find it anymore.

Side by Side both are pretty limited and less flashy. XI only has a few flashy effects but the motions are heavily recycled.

Not that it really matters, since it's the much less noticeable portion of the animation.
