For a while there has been an Android app called FFXIV Guide which at first was great, having the information available all the time (especially if you use fullscreen) however it hasnt been updated since Jan, so all the information is really outdated, So I ask, if there is anyone that would be willing to make a simalar app? I would do it myself but I am not a programmer and dont know anywhere near enough Java to write one. I tried to learn Java and failed at it lol

Here are the android market pages for both the free and donate versions of the current app.

Hmm, he Guide app would crash my phone (Desire HD), it also broke Swype Beta after I installed it.

If I'm feeling brave I've check these others out.

These are the guide apps that have been on the market for a while, I was just wondering if there was anyone on here that would be willing to write a new one that will atleast have uptodate information, those links are just so people know what is in the one currently on the market, incase somone would be willing to write a new up to date app with simalar information.

I am really hoping someone will pick up the app for WP7. I am trying to make it myself at the moment but stuck on a rather complex hurdle. I just want all the ingame cooldown timers (behest, anima, leves etc) and the moonphases displayed.

Not as easy as it sounds :(

I'm on a nokia smartphone and am kinda annoyed with generalized smartphone apps because they dont work propely on mine :/ It be a huuuuge project for someone to take on for them to write up the app for each type of phone out there so good luck to the person who takes it on and if they do get a working version for mine then I'd be happy to pay.

Out of curiosity, what's a good mobile resolution to work with? I'm cheap and don't have a smartphone so I only know that my prepaid phone's screen is like, 180x220.

Devices vary so much that the best way to handle it is to create flexible layouts and detect devices/browsers with scripts etc...it can be a pain.
