Right,

No info at all for a few days now, and a Monday with no new stuff on Lodestone feels strange.

No real Dev tracker info either.

I wonder whats going on...

My guess is they're working. We're supposed to get battle system info this week though, so there's that.

Yeah I hope so. Be fantastic if we can actually party outside of Behest and it be both fun and productive.

I just look forward to Mondays as I was getting used to new posts from the dev team.

I'm spoilt! I'm an information geek. I want to know everything.

A few of the reps on the official forums confirmed Matsui's post about battle system changes is coming this week.

Plus the vanguards' reports about newly discovered dungeons was supposed to come "mid-May" so we'll likely see that this week as well.

Starting to notice people on this forum are a little overdramatic. Think I will stick with the Lodestone. :)

Great song : D

On topic however, the Community Reps have been posting a decent amount. I figure we'll see some juicy info tomorrow or Wed. Be patient, takes time to redo the entire game.

Went out into Coerthas yesterday for the first time at level 25 after hitting surplus. Thought I'd go for some adventure.

It struck me that the starter areas and Coerthas remind me a **** of a lot of ffxi when it first started, but on a different scale.

I hope the devs have big plans for the game, it has so much potential. Just running around north of Ishgard I found all sorts of random buildings, forts, evil looking mobs and camps with soldiers spouting all manner of ill on impending doom.

I'd be interested in hearing from the devs about when this lot will be populated by meaningful storyline etc.

Looking back to old ffxi when it was young (i played in Japan back in 03') it was very much the same. Quite empty and limited exploration opportunities. Simple but great - if we get the battle system sorted it will be excellent going forward.

They made 11 such a great (and different) MMo that I have high hopes for this one, i see similarities from their first years. Just very impatient!

Over to the lodestone to get those devs talking...

There was protest for an update thread started on the official forums but was zapped out of existence pronto by a mod. You can't even open it now.

They gone killed it.

So... you'd be protesting a free game whose director openly says that he and his team are working to update it the best that they can... until they update the game? I don't see what such a protest could possibly accomplish: SE is already doing the very action you would be soliciting! Do you think SE would think, "Oh, people want the game to be updated m0ar faster - we'd better implement all of the super great patches we've left sitting around for no reason whatsoever *pulls stereotypical lever*!"

Such a protest thread didn't get nuked my moderators, it merely gazed into the mirror and decided to kill itself.

Really, they killed a protest thread?

Not very diplomatic is it?

How very 70s of them. Like in this day and age they think that'll make some sort of difference to how people feel. We love the game, that's why we're impatient!

Are we sure SE hasn't relocated to Beijing and are watching us right now through massive satellites?

Bizarre Stuff.

Well, zam is free. We can say what we want, viva le revolution!!!!!!

Well, damning to buggery may be a bit harsh, but you get me. It's been too long SE! Don't do that to me.

Still very strange to hear them killing threads that were just people asking for dev information.

If it's trolling, then fair enough, get rid of the trolls. However, I think on any forum you should be allowed to voice your opinion. What do you guys think?

It seems there is little community rep action, little forum action right now with any substance (apart from the companies info).

We'll be in danger of talking about that aggro icon all day, or if they're going to cap selling marmot fur to NPCs, or would it be a good idea to increase the size of everyones hats, or some rubbish like that.

It's fair that people want to know whats going on if the BIG things aren't really being discussed by the reps.

Shall wait and see. Hope the Battle info comes out tomorrow and shuts me up.

Hard to say without knowing the specifics since I didn't get to see that thread, but looking at the title leads me to believe it had the potential of being a stupid thread deserving of being locked. Could be wrong though -shrugs-
