So what are your goals this weekend?

Mine is to get Thaumaturge to 40 (hah yeah right), Botany to 25 for Sweat of Brow, and Alchemy up to at least 23.

I also want to get my Goldsmithing into the mid 20's at least, but get the feeling these might be futile goals, and will just end up shy of the target by Monday.

(Starting thread today as my weekend begins on Friday nights :D )

Been grinding pretty hard this week, got Lancer to 50 and a Mosshorn Scale Mail and a Champions Lance. I think this weekend I'll just be happy to level Archer into Kokoroons Nestpicker and Venerer's Bracers.

-or-

I might even take a weekend off! :x

I'm on a fishing binge, so I'll be fishing all weekend long. And some other various crafting...but mainly fishing. o.O;

I'm setting up a lawn chair and watching all the souls ascending to heaven during the Rapture this Saturday.

I want to play, but in-laws are inbound for a few days... that and I suddenly find it hard to want to play when I know battle system changes are inbound. I might do some crafting, but I want to learn my battle classes from the ground up... same reason I'd never be the type to purchase a pimped account on an MMO.

Nearly done with this saga. Used leves to do them all, only got 2 left, and its taken the lesser part of a week.

FWIW other than ALC all my craft ranks are Leve only, and the majority of the time I skip the locals.... Crafting leves are a reasonable source to rank up, albiet WAY slower.

If I can scrounge the materials, I'll try and get ALC to 44. If I can get BOT to 36 I'll head to Grid and do the r36 class quests for ARC, TAN and BOT.

I just dinged yesterday Leather35 and Weaver36, so I'm not expecting much movement there this weekend. Probably get PUG to 41, that'd be nice.

I am going to just try and level up a few classes in anticipation of the new job system. I have most (except archer) at level 20 so I just need to grind out a few more levels.

I got Archer to 36 so Goal met I guess.

I also won the princely prize of 2 WHOLE ICE CRYSTALS for my 400 Azeyma's Shields Faction Points. I wonder why I even bother......

Ended up skipping the goals, as my RL friends started playing, so went around with them on lowbie classes and got them levelling. I did manage to solo my first NM, Slippery Sykes, which wasn't even nearly as hard as I was expecting. When we killed it a few weeks back for my shield, it would one shot me with it's AoE, but this time I got hit for around 450 damage from it, which was roughly just under half my HP. The guy I was doing it for tossed me the occasional Sac2 but didn't really need it. Was fun!

Also got my Archer to 20, Conjurer finally dinged 24 for the T2 spells, Alchemy to 22 and a half, and completed my mid goal of getting all crafts up to 10.

Not a bad weekend over all.

Oh and got the achievement for witnessing the strange events at Camp Horizon, killed the Great Buffalo with my shell, got achievements for Cactuar Jack and Dodore, and basically just hermitted my weekend away ingame :)

Goals done except I couldn't quite finish Gladiator off, at one point the fatigue was so bad that Dunesfolk for Dinner dropped from 505 SP with aspect to 448 with aspect. This was in a 7 man group with full links. Un-fatigued it was giving 950 SP (on my shield).

Also, Raptors that gave 338 SP unfatigued dropped to 159 SP at one point. Crazy stuff.

Almost 600,000 SP in a litter over 4 days on just Gladiator alone!

(NOOOOOOOOO LIIIIIIIIIIIIFE)

At least you remembered to open the chest - I finally did Pulling Fangs solo last night, but I was half asleep and I guess the chest was hiding. As soon as I hit the NPC I knew I'd ****** up.
