An observation I made while craftingFollow

This evening I was doing my level quest crafts and notcied something...each time I started a leve quest for rank 20 on my Armorer or Black Smith (both level 16), immediatly when I would start to work on each synth at the beginning of the timer, I noticed that the probability of me completing that synth was pretty high (these were only level 20 synths that did not require advanced facilities). On my 2 leve quest on armorer, I did 7 successful synths before I finally ran into a botched one.

Is this normal? Or is it just cause of the level proximity?

Thanks in advance.

The success rate of your synths depend on how close your current rank is to the rank needed to synth the recipe in question. A R20 lev can have a recipe requiring you to be any rank between 20-24. For example, if you're rank 16 armorer and you get a R20 lev with the required recipe needing R20, you'll have more success than you would if you were R16 making a R24 item. The rank given in the local lev description can be somewhat misguiding. If you want to know how successful you might be, look at the item you'll be crafting and then look here on zam and see what the real rank is. Hopefully this helps. To answer your question, yes that kind of success is normal. With regards to your success rate on where your timer bar is, it doesn't matter where you attempt it.

Ahh, thank you so much! I will pay more attention to the item that they are asking of me when I am crafting, then I'll check on here then. And thank you for answering my question!
