You didn't offend me, I just figured you didn't read (truly read) that entire thread. Yes there were the basic no brainers of alt-tabbing and such... but there were the easily overlooked items like forgetting to disable anti-virus or IM clients AS WELL as certain meathods to install OLDER versions of software and then to update, which is what solved the issues I had. I needed to install a fresh bit of DX9 and I forget what else. The programs changed a bit as has hardware, but the vast majority of issues can be solved by following the trouble shooting steps in that thread.
As Kaolian said, there is a forum for tech help. This forum overall is quite helpful and friendly, I will admidt we've all become a bit grumpy over the past few months... but your posts generally are easy targets. I don't truly believe that you're trolling, I just think you have the misfortune of a certain typing style coupled with a certain attitude which both on their own would be easily skippable... but together occassionaly form an amazing incubator for fantastic forum tomfoolery (I've always wanted to use that word in a sentance... and I likely did it wrong).
Lately you must be very careful where you post. If you notice at the top of this forum there are some pretty handy stickies. Any time you post anything with PC specs or whatever be prepared for animosity. It's sad some times, but it's the way things are and those of us who've been around a bit have adapted... true it's unfair to expect a newbie to understand such, but don't the French expect you to speak French as soon as you step foot off the ferry in Calais (even though the majority of them speak good enough English, they all pretend not to)... It's a funny world these days. But still, just as in Calais, if you ask a question properly you'll get and answer or at least a direction. Ask it wrong and you'll be shut down or worse.
*EDIT* Also, fyi it's good forum ettiquite that when you post a thread requesting resolution to an issue, and you do such by means not directly presented in said thread... that you detail what you did to fix the issue so the next guy that comes along and actually uses the search function (not directed at you, but every one on every forum) has an answer when this thread pops in the top of their search bin.
