The person in the last post started to catalogue his results for the rewards he got per day. I am not sure if there is a pattern to how often you get the extra gil bonus or if it is just random
Right. The Loyalty reward seems to have a pattern (bigger every time, and takes more days between each).
The guild tasks reward is in 3 parts:
-Optional Loyalty Bonus SP
is fixed at 200 for rank1s, 500 for rank10s. It will be granted on whatever class you are on at the moment you turn in the guild task. Random Part
is quite random -- it goes from 5 shards (cheapest) to 5,000 gil and can also be stuff like components. The clerk will announce one possible reward, but the one you get is actually not determined until you turn in your items. They differ between Rank1s and Rank10s. Optional Loyalty Bonus
is only given to people who do guild tasks for the same guild more than once. It doesn't seem to care if you skip days. The amount of gil increase with each reward, and the rewards seem to be less and less frequent the higher you become in loyalty. Loyalty bonus does not differ if you do only rank1s or rank10s, or mix them up -- it is global to the guild.
My previous graph essentially looks like:
Day 1: No loyalty bonus
Day 2: Loyalty bonus : 3,000 gil
Day 3: No loyalty bonus
Day 4: Loyalty bonus : 3,500 gil
Day 5: No loyalty bonus
Day 6: No loyalty bonus
Day 7: Loyalty bonus : 4,000 gil
Day 8: No loyalty bonus
I left Ul'dah for Gridania and stopped doing daily Guild Tasks at that point, so someone else should probably verify my findings and continue them.
(My current assumption is: Day 9 : No bonus, Day 10: 4,500 gil bonus) Edited, Jun 24th 2011 12:11am by Docent42
