We still don't have the actions bars change to reflect job change? After almost a year? Seriously?

:(

I really don't mean to be a Negative Nancy, but if they can rework the entire battle system... wouldn't it be nifty to make it functional between changing jobs?

I called it over a month ago, I knew the patch would flop... goodbye cruel world of FFXIV! Good riddance.

Makes sense. This patch had a lot of fundamental changes. There's a lot of background work to make changes like that. I imagine future patches will be more "customer facing" as in same amount of work, but more of it will be seen by the players.

Basically it's still a wait and see game but this looks like a stepping stool patch.

The fact that stats don't change with class is even worse than this with the MP changes. Now I can either

A) not play mage at all
B) only play mage

Cause I'll need to gimp EVERY STAT I have for mp, whereas I used to be just fine with having less overall MP, and therefore able to put points in things like Dex so I could be a competent fisher.

When it comes to sitting around not doing anything for long periods of time, only being active for short windows, and marginal changes and sidegrades I'd say FFXI players were the perfect choice for politicians.
