I hate to ask, but does anyone have a buddy pass at all?Follow

I've been watching the game since launch, and I really like where this new patch is taking the game. Unfortunately I'm not made of money and don't want to buy a game and then never play it after an hour. I would greatly appreciate a buddy pass if there are any left out there and I do plan to buy the game if I come to like it.

Thank you in advance if anyone has one to spare.

I highly doubt it. They only came with the collector's edition and were mostly passed out in Fall 2010. I highly doubt someone who has held onto their pass for this long would hand it off to a 1-post begger.

It's not that expensive anymore. You could probably find it for $10 now, any stores that still have copies are going to do just about anything to get them off the shelves.

quick search for me reveals price ranging from 15-30 in most places, don't need to be made of money to afford that.

While I do have a buddy pass I am holding on to it to give to my brother when I feel the game is in a good enough state that he may stay. Anyone else who still has one is likely holding it for a similar reasons so I doubt you'll get one so easily.

Don't want to waste my buddy code on someone who might never play it after an hour.

Well excuse me for not rushing out for a game that a massive amount of people abandoned shortly after starting.

If I had one I would give it too you :( But if someone gives you a pass and you like it, you own it already the pass is a full copy of game, you dont need to buy it. ^^

Like Final Fantasy XI, the game specs will be extremely high for the time, but in about 5 years, an average machine can run it on max settings with little to no issues. Tanaka also expressed interest in making a benchmark program available.

Didn't know that actually, I'd still probably buy it anyways just to get the collector's bonuses or give keys to my friends or something if I ended up liking it.
