I bought XIV when it came out but never really got into it. Which is a shame because I love the FF series and played on Bismarck in FFXI for a many many years. I just wanted to say hi on the forum and see if there were any LS's that would have me because the one I joined when the game first started appears to be dead.
I'm mainly looking to level up and experience the missions and NM's of the game. It seems the search for party function still stinks and is completely unusable, unless of course I'm a total dolt and am using it incorrectly (entirely possible knowing my zany antics). But since that doesn't work I guess I would be looking to team up with others in the LS!

MRD Lv 25
CRP Lv 20
WVR Lv 17
Everything else is 10 or under. I know it's totally impressive and you're all climbing over each other to ask me to join. I haven't really played much at all since January, in part due to my workload and in part due to a lack of a community to come home to. Perhaps if I had a community I would be online more. :)

If you're still looking for a LS I'm an officer for the LS "Aces Wild" and we're currently looking for any kind of member who is willing to be a part of a social LS (whether they want/need help, are willing to help, or just basically wants to be part of a community). We're not too high level or anything and we are currently a growing LS that does levequests/NMs/lower lvl. raids/etc. If you're interested you can send me a private message on here and I can tell you a little more if you need to know anything else. Gamion was in my LS and he is correct...it is pretty dead. I've known him since FFXI and he's a really good guy and any LS would be privileged to have him :)
