Ok not scientific but...
R26 Leatherworker on a R20 Leve crafting Dodoskin Harness (gray)
(using nothing but standard to try and keep qualitity similar)
Attempt 1: Q18 = 163SP
Attempt 2: Q39 = 157SP
W/Manual (Grants "Crafters Grace" for 3hours)
Attempt 1: Q32 = 287SP
Attempt 2: Q25 = 236SP
Attempt 3: Q34 = 281SP
OK now heres the even less scientific info
With Crafters Grace only (sorry I don't have 3 hours to wait until it wears off, but maybe this info will be useful for crafters who know a bit more how the SP system works and are crafting similar rank items?)
R29 Leather Bracers; I do have Glove training (attempts in order to save me from typing because as my OP suggests, I AM lazy)
Q64 = 437SP
Q47 = 521SP
Q81 = 434SP
Q32 = 497SP
Q27 = 422SP
Q40 = 477SP
So overall, while not scientific I think we can agree there is a measurable SP boost... what that measurement is will have to wait for those with time to dedicate. What I'm most excited about is the fact that assumedly the books for DoLs will net similar results and maybe make life a bit better for them whilst they await tweaks?
Sorry I didn't track the rest or turn ins, but some how I got almost 20k total SP with 4 leves. Cord and Orders R30 with 7 attempts netted just over 1k per attempt. So these books are a definate must for DoL and DoH, it just requires some one a bit more scientific and with more time than I have to prove it 100%.
Ok countdown timer was at 3 hours... I haven't had THAT many beers yet... When countdown was at around 2:50 I still had 40+ minutes of Tanners buff. Crafters Grace just dissapeared with 8 minutes left on Tannery. I don't have a second book or I'd do a bit more testing since I have 4 more leves for my Carpenter. FWIW though there doesn't seem to be a medicated type recast so grinders could burn up their Company Points quite quickly I think.
