Worth it to start over for a more active server?Follow

All I have are rank 20 THM and rank 20 CON, but I'm on Cornelia and it's appallingly dead. Are any other servers actually more active in terms of linkshells and such? I'm thinking either Besaid or Figaro? I haven't really invested that much time into it, so I guess I don't feel that bad. I'm also thinking of playing Archer instead. Any thoughts?

I'm going to have to disagree sort've with the responses you've gotten. In the end, it comes down to how attatched are you to your character?

Reason being, if I can cross-thread quote:
Thayos wrote:
That's why SE really needs to prioritize linkshell management tools. There are very few large, active English-speaking linkshells around, and these shell holders shouldn't be afraid to invite new members in fear those members will quit, and then will be taking up dead air in the ls. Until it gets easier to be social in this game, whatever content SE implements will not be able to live up to its potential.

Sorry, Thayos, but you said it best.

Bottom line is, it may not be that you're server is "appallingly dead" so much as you don't have the tools needed to connect with people whose goals intersect with you're own. And, based on that assumption, I can't really see a difference between any of the servers up-and-running at the moment.

So again, it comes down to "how attatched are you to your characters"? Are you willing to take the chance that the server you are moving to is, in fact, more populated?

We all make mistakes from time to time. But twice in one sentence begs to be corrected.

Seriously? I'm offering a dude some (perhaps) useful advice and that's the best you got? k.
Meanwhile, who said english is my first language? (It is, I just don't speak (read: type) it well. Make's a **** good excuse though.)

But what really gets me to sleep at night?

Correcting someone's grammar does not make you smart or cool it just makes you a douche. I understand if its so horrible that it can't be read but in this case you're just being an A-hole dude.

I love it though when people do it as a response to someone they are arguing with.

Well, I'm not too attached to my character, but after rolling my new character and toying around with archer for a while, I wholeheartedly prefer DoM to DoW, so I think I'm just sticking with my old one. And way to railroad the thread with a grammar comment. Thank you for trolling.

Cornelia isn't dead its just a *** populated server, your best bet would to re-roll on mysidia or selbina. you don't have to delete your Cornelia character. as of now additional character slots are free.
