Stop making threads on the exact same topic, it's annoying.

Do you have all of your drivers up do date for your video card?

If at all possible post your computer specs and the error you get if any.

no offense, but those system specs aren't detailed enough, you didn't even mention what graphics card you have or anything, just the CPU and amount of ram. and 64 bit OS. also, try installing this as well. I had to install it when I built my PC and put windows 7 on it as XIV uses direct X 9.

Sounds like a DirectX problem, try running it in windowed mode, see what happens.

I had this same problem when i tried to get the game to play with the on-board GPU. So if you try to play with a on-board GPU the game will nvr work. Not sure what you have tho with the specs you posted.

we need more spec information to help further. specifically exactly which graphics card you have. If it's an on-board one then you'll need to go buy a graphics card.

That is a very low end card which I doubt would be able to play the game.

yeah, you're going to need to buy a new graphics card, that's not going to run XIV.

Unfortunately your card is not higher than the minimum requirements. In the world of GPUs, 2900 > 5450. Check the following link if you don't believe us:

GPU Ranking
5450 Benchmark Comparison

Minimum Requirements: ATI Radeon HD 2900 512MB (Ranked 145-232, depending on model)
Your Graphics Card: ATI Radeon HD 5450 (Ranked 333)

I would recommend a Radeon HD 5770 (Ranked 49, ~$120.00). Hopefully the power supply that came with your Dell can handle that card.

no, that's even worse then what you already have. I'd recommend nothing lower then a 5770, it's what I'm using till I can upgrade it here in a month or two.
