Yeah and you get to hold a gun in the LL storyline path, they're still not freely available as Musketeer isn't out yet.

I don't consider stacking mages or archers in a party as tactics. It doesn't require any skill or thought. Design like this just leads to elitists excluding a large portion of players from new content, forcing them either level up mage/archer or beg linkshell members to drag them along. I dealt with that in XI and I don't really want to see this kind of imbalance in XIV.

Classes are not imbalanced, it's just not efficient right now to bring meeles cause they suck too much MP/increase enmity out of mages needing to cure them when they get hit by AoE.

If they'd tweak Cure MP and enmity it would be "equal" for all classes again. Right now it just takes way more patience and dmg avoiding skills for meeles to be of use in the R50 dungeon, but it still works if the group is willing to do it.

On the other hand, they could increase enmity generated through dmg, cause DDs are not nearly generating as much hate as tanks/healers.
