When it comes to sitting around not doing anything for long periods of time, only being active for short windows, and marginal changes and sidegrades I'd say FFXI players were the perfect choice for politicians.

I thought this one was for the summer event. Doesn't start on the 10th?

Edit: My mistake it starts on the 11th not the 10th.

I would imagine the fact that they've been working nonstop on bugfixes for 1.18 would mean that they're further behind on 1.19.

Because it takes the entire team to do a patch.

They've been working on 1.19 independently from 1.18.

My go-to example is chocobos. In the tenth Letter from the Producer back in May, a Mount System -- including chocobos -- was merely under consideration. Two months later, and despite the delay of 1.18, chocobos were announced by a community rep as a certainty for 1.19.

It seems that when he announced the list of items in the tenth letter and slated them all for the end of summer, they already were divided up behind the scenes for 1.18, 1.19 and 1.20.

That said, given that the summer event goes till 8/29, I'd wager that mid-September is a likely target for 1.19. It's not like SE to drop a patch and in the middle of an event. Though, I'm basing that on XI's old three-month patch cycle. Who knows what craziness a sleep-deprived Yoshi-P will pull.

I bet they fix MRD potency increase in 1.18a. People are saying MRD skill didn't get increased damage as patch note indicated.

That, or reducing MP cost for Cure.
