maybe its just my PC or browser, However

i was just digging through the database looking for gear and whatnot, and i couldn't seem to find any leg gear rank 25ish, and i mean 0 in the search. For curiosity's sake i just search for my current ones cotton kecks, and found they are listed as hand equipment.

looked up my spiked knuckles and they are listed as gladiator's arm.

is this a me problem?

Looked up Cotton Kecks, they're listed as Legs. However, the rank filter in the database doesn't seem to be working. If you just browse the legs category, you'll get plenty of returns. But as soon as you put a rank range, you'll get zero returns.

Just try looking up THM weapons. The first 5 entries listed are for GLD, Fishermen and Lancers. >.>;

Thanks for pointing it out, guys. Usually an update will mess things up and we just need to fix something small for everything to fall back into place.

Many of the items need to be updated too. How does one help with this?

A large number of the items are incorrect. I actually started using YG more than zam just because so much of zams info is wrong or recipies arent even in the zam data base. I really dislike how slow YG loads I would much rather use zam but YG is more reliable.

I noticed that some of the items looked like they were being updated. I mean to say that the repair item was being changed from the old item to the new dark matter. On some of the items it looked like they listed plus to unknown stats. I think I first started to notice this on Monday.

I don't know that you can update the database directly, but you can report errors using the comments section which we can then see and respond to. I'll toss a few ideas out and see if any of the other admins/devs like them.

I can start listing some of the things that I know are missing or wrong if you want.

First thing I can think of off the top of my head is Zam is missing 2 or 3 of the recipies for steel nuggets that use bomb ash.

I'll take a look. We actually have a page that shows us all the new comments on items in the database so if you comment on an item, you can be sure that one of us will see it.

I'm sure it's still being worked in, but it looks like Weapon Delay hasn't been added as a stat yet.

I would contribute whenever I see an error. I actually prefer ZAM's item search feature for speed and prettiness, unfortunately as a crafter, it's missing things like ingredient breakdowns, and sub-ingredient recipes printed on the same page.

That and the way the ingredients are displayed as large icons instead of a nice clean list is a bit unwieldy.

If some of these things were changed, and things started to get updated quickly, I would love to switch to ZAM's item database.

Well, if you put a ticket in for that functionality, never you mind!

Seeing as today they announced crafting is as simple as one bar + one cloth = chainmail, I certainly won't need a breakdown anymore. Things are looking up for you guys! Hah.

I will be posting a bit later tonight about some incentives we are working on for those who help us keep the db up to date. Stay tuned!
