>.<* Ok I see people with bags next to their names which means they are selling things that other people can buy. What I was wondering is how I can also do this because I feel like sometimes you would get more money selling to people rather than an NPC. Thanks for any help.

Select the item in your inventory, and then select sell item, then specify a price.

The most effective way to move product is to put it on your retainer, go to manage bazaar contents and do the same thing I just said. Then set them up somewhere in the market wards.

If this ends up a double post I apologize. Internet is acting up because of storm. I go to sell onyx potion and when I go to sell the sell action is not allowed. Not sure why that is. So if you have more info on why that would happen let me know.

Onyx Tears?

It's a Unique/Untradable item.

Unique means you can only own one. Untradable means you can't trade or sell it to other players.

Look for these tags emblazoned on the item tool tip. It's common on certain gears and items from quests and notorious monsters.

Ok. So you can only sell stuff that is not untradable? That kinda sucks. Also found a notorious monster the other day. I didn't know what it was or what lvl because it said "??" so I tried to look it up on here but not a lot was given on it and almost died when I saw the health bar move but was still full. That was crazy.

Untradable gear and items (generally "Bind on Pickup" in other games) are far, far, far less common in FFXIV than they are in most MMOs, so it really shouldn't be a huge issue.

Those onyx tears were given to you from the Grand Company, it's basically a small elixir. Restores some hp and mp, just use it in a tight spot, no need to sell it. Almost 90% of the other things you get daily are tradable.

As for Notorious Monsters, they're usually significantly higher level than the surrounding enemies. Unlike rare spawns in most games, where they're pretty easy to kill, and just have a chance at some random loot, Notorious Monsters are tough, and drop a loot specific to them. As a rule of thumb, a full party of players that are about the level of the surrounding enemies is required to kill an NM. There are lots of exceptions to that rule though, of course.

Steer clear of NMs until you've got a foothold in the game.

That would be easier though if people would actually answer you when you ask for any help to work on building a class. really wanted to just solo for a while, while doing main quest stuff but So far in the 2 weeks I have been online I only ever had two people actually talk to me. Is this normal cause I don't think I'm coming off as a creeper?... "Do the Creep, HAH..." (love that song).

Where are you mostly? What times are you playing?

Generally people won't just talk to you for no apparent reason, but I don't usually get ignored if I talk directly to anyone. I suggest finding yourself a linkshell though, you can have more than one, so no reason not to, if you're looking to be more social.

I am a rank 20 pgl but also am working on other classes as well. My physical lvl is 20. I can handle most creatures with my rank 13 lancer but want to work on it and the higher creatures are a little out of my range. If I was 15 or 16 it would be fine. I am on the Fabul server where I started in Limsa Lominsa. I am in the first camp out side of Ul' Dahl right now and since I got here I have been more about trying to find friends and talk to people because I know it will help in the long run. Also the outer cities were mostly solo stuff and my buddy who played the crap out of FFXI told me that more than likey the starter cities meet somewhere so when I found the quest to go to Ul' Dahl I tried my hardest to reach rank 20 on my pgl real quick. I normally ask in general areas if people would like to grind/hunt. I also use the shout command and give where I am or where I will be to help get more people know where I will be. And I don't get any replies at all. I have my own link shell if anyone reading this in the area of me is also looking for people and is looking for a casual playing party. As far as what time I am on. I am unemployed at the moment since getting the game I have been on the game anywhere from 12pm to 4am. That's just about every day by the way. As far as other link shells go... My buddy also told me about why he quite 11. It was because he was always having to be on at crazy times and it became no fun for him anymore. This is something I am striving to stay away from. So also if anyone has their own casual link shell and needs someone else for help hit me up for that too. My tag is the Same as my name on here. Except a space between the first and last name.

Linkshells are just organizations of players, they're basically guilds, but you can have more than one. Joining a social linkshell will not obligate you to be on at strange times. Your "friend" was referring to end game linkshells, that have dedicated events. Just don't join one that expects you to do things you don't want to do. There are tons of purely social linkshells.

Currently, most party forming happens inside the cities themselves, namely Ul'dah, if you want to form a group, that's where to do it. Again though, a linkshell is the best way.

Also, please use enter and break your posts into paragraphs when typing. Reading that many words without a line break will give most people a headache, or cause them to totally ignore your post.

Ok back to main topic. How do you remove the items from sell? or mend?

Go to your Bazaar tab and click the item, then remove.
