And after a week or so, I saw a picture of FFXIV (which I bought back in January). I remember this game as a total grindfest, and a pita in general, with some very cool ideas. I think I still have a character on Figaro.

2 questions:

1. How, if any, has the game changed? I've read all the patch notes, but I want to know what was the most noticable.
2. Best city/server (I don't want to end up in a ghost town- That's no fun for me)

PS> : I've defintely decided to try it out again, but I'm looking for newbie(again) tips.

Patch Notes

Busiest city is typically Ul'dah. As far as servers go...when you go to choose a server it shows which ones are most populated.

EDIT: Compared to launch date...well you can't compare. It's good. (In my opinion.) And it's only gonna get better.

Everyone can admit it's better. Whether it's good is really personal opinion.
