Ran just fine BEFORE the June update. Then it gave me an error after I could not open FFXIV for some reason. I attempted to uninstall the game but it wouldn't let me so I was forced to re-install Windows 7 Ultimate. Now I get this error above. Here are my computer specs:

...sorry that I can't help, though; I would if I could.

Its personal preference and all, but yes we need to educate WoW players that this is OUR game, these are Characters and not Toons. Time to beat that into them one at a time.

Hehe - yeah my computer was a little slow - hence why the triple post ><. If I could get the game working I'd be on it right now. I've tried uninstalling my Xbox 360 controller, updating my graphics cards (2 Radeon HD 5770's), I have DirectX 11, Catalyst Version 11.7. I am stumped and feeling quite hopeless atm =/

This could be a clue... with those specs, the last thing your computer should be is slow. virus maybe? dying hard drive? bad ram? overheating? just some ideas....

same thing is happening to me, it was running just fine, and now it doesnt even start, when i click the shortcut i get FFXIV stopped working after a few seconds, the only difference is that i updated my ATI drivers a few days ago. :/

Note: i wont be changing the drivers as they fixed a serious issue with my card's fan wich almost had me sent it over for repairs, /woeisme.
