I made a small "talent" Calculator for FFXIV where you can set your skills and generate macros and stuff.

http://ffxivcalc.lafil.ch/

It is still a beta version but i thought i put it up because i will be away for three weeks soon. Tell me on feedbacks, bugs or suggestions!

Not just that, it's pointless with upcoming changes.

This actually looks super cool. I could imagine it being really useful in designing macros. Before, I had to keep switching between the game and Excel to see what skills I had with my different classes. I like this.

But yeah in a few weeks you'll have to change it a lot.

Edit: Actually, some of the skills are already obsolete. Heavy strike, for example, doesn't exist anymore...
Good work otherwise.

Thx for the Heavy Strike hint, removed:
Heavy Strike
Light Slash
Light Swing
Light Thrust
which were removed with 1.18.
And i will adapt it to the new system of course we will have to see what it is.

This is extremely useful, thank you. I've always avoiding making the macros cause its such a pain, this makes my life a lot easier.

Thank you for doing this...quick question though - I cant seem to copy the macros so I can paste them in - Is this just so I can manually type them in or is there a way of copying? When I try and highlight the generated macro it does nothing and at most I can copy the first line only.

Hey,

You should be able to copy paste them, i will look into this.
Also i probably will release a version where you can load your jobs from lodestone tonight.

cheers

Edit: I tried it and i was able to copy paste by selecting all the text and right clicking > copy or by hitting ctrl+c.
Remember that you can only paste single line into the game from what i have seen, so if you are copying into a macro copy line by line. Hope that resolves your problem (=

I'm lazy when it comes to writing macros, so the macro generator alone makes this thing fantastic.

Put a new version up (Version 1.0.3b). You can now export your 'builds', by pressing the export button you will recieve a url which you can share.

Thx!

I put out a minor update today had some bugs in the action point calculation.
Also skills are now swapped like in game when you drag them around on the grid.
And exporting now saves level information.

Btw still searching for trait cap formula depending on level, cant seem to find it.
Or atleast a lvl 50 could tell me what the trait point cap is at 50 ;)
