Crap i thought Summerfest lasted to the 3rd I only did 2 areas and have 12 ashes I do anything in the game to avoid this event.I craft in Uldah just so i can go outside the city to avoid that music so It'll be good if it ends.

Good riddance!

I mean, I'm not a complete hater. But because the friggin' song was EVERYWHERE I couldn't take it anymore.

I actually thought the music was cool and fitting for the event. I think it was just overplayed.. It should have been exclusively for the 3 main cities and thats it. It really wears on you hearing it out in the middle of coerthas or in the black shroud.. just didn't fit. One of the few times i have ever turned the music off in a FF title.

Nothing like trudging through Mor Dhoma listening to resort music. "Hey you! Where's my Corona?"

It wasn't playing in Mor Dhona? It was only playing in the 3 cities and in the "Zones" surrounding the hamlets the event was taking place in...

Unfortunately those "Zones" are enormous, they need to script smaller regions for event music. If the music was limited to the areas where fireworks were happening, and the area immediately around the hamlets, it would have been fine.

Oh it wasn't? That's too bad, now I wish it was...lol. I've had my bgm muted since about 15 min after the event started.
