If i understand your "4 sentences in 1" right, then you are talking about the fatigue system??
Dont know a single person who couldnt just level one job because of that. The penalty was annoying, but not that much that it
prevented people from skilling up fast.

Too answer your badly worded question; no the fatigue system is gone, so you can play just one class up to level cap without any breaks.
However leveling only one class will not make your character as strong as someone who has multiple classes leveled up(the more classes you level the more skills you unlock which then can be equiped on your "main" class to makie it stronger or more versatile).

One of the best aspects of the online final fantasy games is that you can level many classes/jobs on the very same character, no need to make alts to experience everything the game has to offer.

It stopped me from leveling pug i got to level 18 and my exp/skill dropped down to 1/4 of what i was getting at that point it would keep droping till it hit 0 and reset every week so, I could of waited a week or just level another job up which really killed the game for me

Except for initial City story arcs or presumably once you lock yourself into one of the Grand Companies >.< (But I agree about the same char different classes awesomeness)

I doubt any grand company choice will be undoable. At least I'm hoping that they will have a system for changing companies.

I have the highest hopes that this is true... but you never know.

Regardless of anything limiting you from focusing on one class, focusing on one class in itself inhibits your ability to perform at peak efficiency as that class, due to the inherent reliance on cross-class abilities to maximize your effectiveness when doing anything. In other words, don't ignore other jobs out of stubbornness, if an ability from that job will help you considerably. Regardless of your decision, the game as improved by leaps and bounds since CE launch, and more changes are on the way... (Most for the good, some questionable but could turn out alright, we'll see.)
