If you could change ONE & ONLY ONE thing....Follow

This is just for fun thread for maybe some ODD requests.

Just as the title asks, what is the ONE & ONLY ONE thing you would change? It could be as small as changing the size of a Rat's ears all the way to dropping an H-Bomb on Limsa to prepare for the construction of "New Jeuno"! Try to have some fun with this while bringing our your creative side. Who knows, someone may actually be looking!

My one thing that I would change would be to make the UI less "Clunky". It seems that all the menus & some other features all have a small delay on them and makes for moving quickly through your menus a bit of a pain. However, this may be already in the works as we speak but that is my one thing I would change.

Easy as that! have fun!

Targeting...

I mean being able to cycle through things is cool and all but I find myself switching between mouse click to heal someone in party specifically... aggro changed... well <p1> is no longer the tank who was being mauled...so I would like things like <bt> battle target and <tt> target's target. That with a nice easy numbering system for 'marking' targets (that can be macro'd)

my change would be the Fundamental flaw with crafting... in that, a lazy grinder or botter can be just as successful spamming standard than a Hard working player who uses the wait command over and over, waiting to get rid of that Flashing orb, and the Element STILL goes unstable! not cool!

If I could change one thing...it would be to have the ability to change more then one thing.

If it works anything like a Genie :| that is not allowed D;

However, you could change that there is only a "one change topic" so that there is multiple!! Then you can make many one changes :D

In all seriousness though... targeting just seems a bit off in this game. It isn't bad when you doing things like playing dedicated healer... or tanking/damage. However when you try to mix them in... it gets somewhat annoying.

I'd make zones interesting. That is, add more unique elements to them; make them seem more vibrantly, entrancingly open-world.

Crappy targeting, staggered combat, broken linkshell management, &c. are all bearable for me, so long as I have some sort of motivation to deal with those problems. As it is now, even if they fixed all of the terrible UI issues, I'd only be able to smoothly interact with the bland, copy-pasted trees and boulders as they stretch out farther than the draw-distance can see.

I still remember one of the first things when I came into my party in FFXIV was try to set up the <bt> macro. To my disappointment as well I was unable to use it. Good Idea MarieDel!

SmashingtonWho I can feel you on that one. There is nothing more aggrivating than opening that LS menu and see only names and connections...Where are their levels/jobs and most of all their location!? Great suggestion!~

Whales I agree with you as well. That party seek system can be tough as well. My buddies and I as we party still throw up recruitment just in case some soul decides to check it out, however we have had no takers.

KaneKitty, This is an all too familiar problem I see all over the world in this game. In Copperbell Mines I almost feel like I am in 'Inception" when he introduces the never ending stairs! Even the mobs are in the same place! AHHH!

We need the ability to remove LS members who are not online first and foremost.

Shells fill up, then players stop playing, but instead of replacing members the LS has no choice but to reform a new LS. This causes LS to lose member who do not log on during the re-shell process. It also has the unintended effect of making LS leader less likely to recruit a newbie who may not play for long and will simply take up a spot permanently on the LS list.

There are very many things that need attention. Of them all, this one negatively effects community and friendships. That puts it at a high priority for me.

Mail system.
It's daft that you either need to stop a friend playing for ages or waste an hour selling stuff to your alt in the wards.

I'd add classes (especially the ones hinted that that are still missing)

If only one of the things currently wrong with the game was going to be addressed, I would find a different game.

SnashintonWho, great point! Community is what drives an MMO in my opinion as well.

Grockle I expeienced this first hand not to long ago. Man did it take forever to get everything I wanted from that first character! Mail System would be a def. plus to the game.
