Food is a complicated topic at the moment, and since stat revisions are forthcoming that will negate the bonuses provided based on those, you can pretty much stick with optimal level for the time being.
Here's a helpful chart that lists what does what/when: https://docs.google.com/viewer?a=v&pid=explorer&chrome=true&srcid=1zK9e_wsHTMPMhQGYXA5qDkCEEXsb749VTTcMvPSEy9N6pMVT5mx3zTIIFS43&hl=en&authkey=CNDhlbAB
I think most DoW classes typically stick with anything that boosts your standard melee stats or defensive stats if you're tanking. DEF, HP, attack, accuracy, etc.
Most DoH classes tend to use craftsmanship/control foods, unless off-handing and then it's mag. craftsmanship. Someone correct me if i'm wrong, as I rarely use off-hand tools.
So far as jewelry goes, stat pieces are likely to mean a lot more post-1.19, as they're finally going to provide visible bonuses. SE also stated they're increasing the potency on all accessories, so the DEX+5 ring post-update might become DEX+8, and so forth.
Until then, stick with +acc/eva. Edited, Sep 17th 2011 11:48am by Dallie
