Ripping off Chocobos should be a capital offense.

"Luvinia?" Not sure I'd name my MMO so closely to the tragic rape victim of Titus Andronicus, but... well, I guess it was better than their first title, "Zadolf Zitler Online." >_>

Fixed.

To be clear, I'm not talking about the SNES version of FFIV.

II had chocobos? I had no idea, I'm more or less ignorant about II and III. Well, learned something. Smiley: schooled

Or the chocobos from that old FF anime... fat, fleshy things without any feathers, and huge, pointy beaks. >_>

We have two things to thank Final Fantasy II for, Chocobos and Cid. (Edit: Oh and Dragoons.)

Three was the beginning of the job system, and summons.

Two is actually worth a play through if you get your hands on the WSC/GBA/PSP version of the game, the original was horrendous though. Three wasn't nearly as bad in it's first iteration, though a little intense in the difficulty department, and still featured the ridiculous multi-level-MP system.

Yeah, having a storyline sometimes makes it feel like you're playing characters with some kind of personal depth. *shakes fist at plots*

I can count the main characters in FF games that I actualy found interesting on one hand, sorry Emo little brats who have to save the world gets old pretty quick...

I enjoyed the first game becuase it felt more like a world than a movie, it was obviouse there was alot of story going on behind the scenes but little of it was anything the "light warriors" needed to concern themselves with, they had better things to get done.
I never said I didn't like the rest of the series, well I rather didn't like a few of them at all, but I have been a fan of the games from playing the first one on the NES.

To be fair, the relatively minimalist story in Final Fantasy 1 has no direct correlation to the fact that there are silent protagonists. And instead had a lot more to do with the time it was released and the state of Squaresoft at the time.

Anything on a cartridge and anything in the Ivalice Alliance is exempt from this rule, thankfully.
