Is it just me or am I the only one that dislikes how TP diminishes? >_>...I like it better when TP does not diminish like in FFXI or limit breaks and weapons skills in past final fantasies.

Yeah I don't like it either, but it allows for them to introduce gear that would affect TP deterioration.

I don't like the way TP diminishes, either.

And, while what State says is true, that is does give SE the opportunity to add new kinds of gear, that doesn't change the fact that it's not a very enjoyable system. Of course, I also get the feeling that they'll never add in such gear anyway; they changed the way MP worked, though, so maybe they'll change TP as well.

You're supposed to start a fight with no TP. That's how content is going to be balanced, so it makes sense to close the loophole of building TP before a decisive fight. Otherwise they'll have to assume that everyone starts a battle at 3k TP and add boss HP or whatever to compensate.

Also, am I the only one who finds it impossible to interpret Victrola's posts?

What would be the advantage of starting off with 3000tp? As a tank i know that it would cause mayhem for DD to automatically use their weapon skills at the beginning. You have to be able to control the tempo of the battle. When i tank ogre people hold off going balls to the wall so the tank can generate hate. by the time im good most have TP to do weapons kills freely.

You lost TP in FFXI, too. Just while zoning into a new area. XIV doesn't have that many zones, so I guess this was their way of going around it.

And as well as not building up/storing TP before an important fight or whatever.

Meditate and Icarus Wings frequently got around those problems.

Edit: and now Scholar and Corsair, I think, can grant people TP, as well.

As if getting TP was that hard... AS a PUG, even with 0 TP at each battle start, deliver 2 hits, you get 1000 TP... use 2 hit abiilties, bam, I have 3k TP ready to use. Only with my THA is when TP is slow, but I really don't use it, just store it for Second Wind's or whatever, but most of the time I'm just spamming spells.

Llester, I don't know what you are trying to accomplish, but it is getting very old very quick.
