So I decided to take a break (from what I was doing) by attempting a translation in case anyone felt like they were missing out. You weren't by the way, there's no significant info in here or anything, but just in case, here you are:
it's sound designer/composer Soken.
If you're walking at Shinjuku Station, looks like everyone's wearing knee highs. (Basically, everyone's wearing long pants more or less.)
With the sun coming around less and less, it's starting to cool off
Everyone wants the snow don't you think?
Now then, the day after tomorrow on 10/5 Final Fantasy XIV patch 1.19 hits!
Seriously it was a huge effort... truly exhausting...
The amount we produced was 5 times as much as that of patch 1.18
On twitter, it was mentioned there would be 14 new songs!
For Japan, we're making a special digest (medley) version available to the public, pre-release, with 14 songs and 1 jingle!! (Assumption is that he's referring to the "Victory Fanfare")
It's clear where some of the songs will be used,
but where some other songs will be used is less clear,
Anyway, PLEEEEEEEEASEEEEEE take a listen!!
The most difficult thing was that the sound work was a secret!!
Furthermore during all that hard work I had to be on stage at CEDEC (Roughly equivalent to Japan's GDC), and the next day on the internet I (...not sure here >_>) also a secret.
I have a hunch that wasn't spirit but... sweat.
But, obediently laugh at that icon!
( Honestly no idea what icon, I sort of got lost at the end lol... Nothing spectacularly important though, just some humor that I failed to understand. So if some of it seems really awkward, that's because I started literally translating some of the phrases because I had no context. ) Edited, Oct 3rd 2011 12:55am by RamseySylph
