I love how self-righteous some people are. Get over the fact that power leveling is possible. Some will use and some will not. At the end of the day this game is meant to be enjoyed and however the INDIVIDUAL chooses to find enjoyment from an otherwise unenjoyable game is their prerogative. You call it cheating? Well I was cheated out of $80.00 when I purchased the game, if getting power leveled through a few aggravating level ranges is the worst of my sins, I think I'll take my chances.
To the OP, good post.

LOL I love this post! Anyway, so many people are PL'ing and Yoshi has deemed it ok... so there is no chance to take! Just do whatever you like... personally I gained quite a few ranks this weekend in a PL party with some friends. We would just rotate back and forth and it was actually pretty fun. We chatted the whole time and got some materia, so it wasn't boring for me.
The whole thing about PL is that, my main class is Gladiator and to "be good" I need skills across basically every class in the range of 30 - 50. The faster I can get them and be a better tank so my LS can progress in end-game content the better, and if I kill my experience in game a little bit by getting to those levels faster I'm willing to make that sacrifice. And let's be honest... not everyone wants to level up every class, I certainly have no ambition to be a mage in this game (because I have been in all other games primarily) so getting CNJ/THM Pl'd to get the healing spells and buffs I need is fine with me.
On the same note, there are classes that I really want to level Archer specifically, because I find the class very appealing. So I will be leveling that with no PL and trying to have fun with it. I leveled my Gladiator to max during 1.18 as well as most classes to 20~. Maybe the whole PL mindset will change once jobs are released, or maybe SE will fix it.
I just hate this stupid debate... Edited, Oct 10th 2011 12:17pm by RemVye
