That was quick. Can all the people who were waiting for the delay and the delay of the delay raise their hands please.

Indeed, that's fast. I wonder if they'll come through with the "saving action bar sets per class" like they said. That would be awesome.

The only reason it's fast is because of the critique they're getting over the PLing at the lodestone forum.

Q: Is it possible to save the set of action bars for individual classes?
A: We were aiming to implement it in patch 1.19. However we could not complete the debug testing so it did not make it. It is planned to be implemented in patch 1.19a*, which is scheduled to take place around 2 weeks after patch 1.19.

* Patch 1.19a will be released in mid-October.

Yeah, no, they already said before they knew about this issue that it was coming out this week. As a point of fact they said that if the patch wasn't coming so soon, they would have released an emergency release.

Yes, no, it has been more like one week than two.

Glad to see them fixing the PL issue and also the low level difficulty. That should alleviate (hopefully) the concerns raised in Bartel's thread.

The PL was insane at Treespeak last night 4 early 40 mobs areas i walked by had more than 10 LS people in every spot. It's like people know it's going to end.I was fun to see so many players gathered in one area camping mobs.

On one hand you've got an unfair system, but on the other people are out grouping and having fun. If SE can balance things correctly, I think they might be on to something.

So that's why the list of changes is so short... /sarcasm off/

and now it will be patched out and no one will be partying. Meh. My interest in the game fell about ten points just now.

Well if this continued for a couple weeks nobody would be partying anyway because anyone who wanted to would have capped every class.

Plus I thought you already "quit and uninstalled" when they "broke mages;" and again before that when the game came out. Maybe you should stay away for more than a couple months at a time: it would at least let you escape this cycle of Play → QQ → Quit → QQ → Play → QQ → Quit.

What is this dude talking about? I see shouts nonstop for all day for normal XP parties without a PL.
I grinded from 1-50 in one week, six days actually, without any PL help. And on a brand new character with no money or friends. As long as they don't nerf the level difference past 5-6 levels there is nothing to worry about.

Absolutely, the end of the brokenness of power leveling won't see the end of viable ways to XP.

If you get together with people your level range and do normal XP parties, you will get good XP! Don't let not being able to do insane PLing make you think no one will party. (However, a good pt search feature would make this easier! :P)

You had a positive experience. Good for you, other people are not so fortunate to get there in six days. I didn't start my thread for the **** of it. People really do have trouble with leveling. Playtime and what hours could be a major factor with a community that is so small.

I'm starting to think that someone at Square-Enyx is stalking you and making sure they remove everything you like in the game, just to spite you.

It certainly feels like you think it would be possible, the way you complain about just about every one of your classes getting the shaft.

If I'm doing my math correctly, the patch started just 9 minutes ago?

Can anyone confirm?

Thanks Belcrono!

Just a couple hours to wait then. Can't wait to see how functional the saved ability system is. :)

Oh, yeah, the patcher, and the router, and the ports. :/

Guess I'll see it tomorrow.

Maybe I should add I work night shift, which divides my playtime in half on weekdays? If I can do it with those hours, there is no way its that bad for others. Less complaining, more playing. Start your own party and get going. If it's really that much of a problem on Rabanstre (I know it's not, I have a character there) then choose Selbina, Lindblum, Besaid, or Cornelia. According to your sig you don't have but a week's worth of levels with the ridiculous XP rates now, starting over could help you more than you think.
