Grand Companies How To Get Seals/Points?Follow

#1 Oct 22 2011 at 10:27 AM Rating: Good
After the updates i am giving the game another try. One of my goals is to get a personal chocobo so thats really what i am trying to do here.

My highest rank is a lvl 22 conjurer got to that rank recently did the next main quest, Together we stand. Then i got into the great companies, took me a while to find the place where you sign up for the companies. (google and exploring eventually exploring won in regards to finally showing me where to go)

Went to gridania to sign up for twin Adder company. did the quest, then did the 2nd quest to become a recruit.

In Total I Did these quests.
"Breaking The Seals"
"Why Did It Have To Be Snakes"
"Adder's Nest Egg"
"The Mail Must Get Through"

Now i am looking in the company area and i dont see any more new quests.... Soo how do i get points/seals if i cant do quests? I know i heard of a caravan quest but i would never be able to do that one, have heard they are hard and soloing impossible on them unless ur real high lvl i suppose.

Is the next quest sealed like main quests until you reach a certain level(rank)? and if so what is that level(rank)? Ultimately what high rank do you have to be to get a chocobo if you need to be certain ranks to get the next available quest? I only got 750 seals on me atm from those earlier quests

Can someone just list all the Quests currently for the Gridania Company Quest, and the rank you need to be for it? Or maybe quests you can do to get seals/points outside the company if there is one?

Ultimately I Want That Chocobo! Thanks for all those that try to guide me on this, havent played in months. If i have to be rank 40 or something i might just give up on the game again i dont wanna grind/levequests for a long time just to get a chocobo.

I think i wrote all that i needed and said it correctly, if not i will just correct it later.

Go through your completed quest dialog's to be sure, but at some point, you're going to get sent to the other Companies to complete quests prior to making your final decision and joining one for good. You're going to have to bring the other companies up to the same point in each quest line...so head over to those other companies and get crackin'!

IIRC, you have to be level 25 prior to being about to proceed to full membership into any of the three companies. GL!

Ah ok rank 25 ill get working on that, the last company quest i did had Cid show up and say meteor and he left, no quest icon anywhere in the company anymore and they dont give me any.

I will try other cities if at rank 25 i still have no new quests there, so its ok to be a recruit in all 3 before you swear into a real one? I do not look forward to going through the other 2 cities to find the companies there, ive heard lumina its near musketeers place but just looked i got no clue where it is.

Id check my quest log but ive already relogged, got kicked offline for some reason briefly.

Thanks For Letting Me Know Appreciate it, was beginning to think no one would reply.

Sadly that's actually required. You can't choose a company until you've made a certain amount of progress with all Grand Companies. This does open up to you at level 25, if you have completed the earlier quests. For the most part, the two companies you haven't done yet are basically the same as Gridania's quests. All involve that Urianger guy, and he always summons a pet to fight you...

The Maelstrom is pretty far from the Musketeer's guild actually. Just like the Adders Nest it's inside the Market Wards in that zone. Ul'Dah is the same.

Awesome thanks guys, the next quest for the company was sealed until i got rank 25 anyway used up alot of anime down to 30 something anima now... they really need to get those to regenerate faster.

Finally officially in a company and now need 650 seals to get those chocobos darn why couldnt it be 2k seals instead...... Got 2 open quests but need parties might try my luck finding someone to team up with sometime.

Any quick way to get seals? i thought of supply missions but they offered for 3 yew logs i get 6 points so i would need 325 yew logs to get that much for chocobo and i dont wanna spend probably weeks farming that...

I know there are some company seals from leves in dungeons, where is a good place for rank 25 and under dungeons to find company seals in twin addlers gridania map? I found one but was for rank 30 or is that the lowest one available that rank 30 company leve in that dungeon?

Thanks Again For The Help Guys

Do Toto-rak/Imperial Device, that should be about 1,000 Seals. You can also pick up Ifrit lvl 30 fight (no idea why but people can pick it up as lvl 25) and get another 350 Seals (or 700 Seals doing it with 3 others from same Company). Another alternative is Chocobo escort at lvl 20 Camp, but it's quite tough soloing through, the maximum reward is about 50 Seals each try I think, but it's free and repeatable. Company Leve are for lvl 30 and 40, cost 1 Leve Allowance each time but they are mainly used for XP because they give a retardedly high rate of XP per kill with Guardian Aspect (I got up to 900 XP per kill >_>) with many spawn.

Don't think Anima regeneration needs a boost, just use Airship and Hire Chocobo until you get your own. I'm sitting on 90 Anima at all time <_<

Hey, as far as company leves go, does an agent (or whatever) only appear at one of the rank 30 gates? I didn't see anyone at Humblehearth, so does that mean I should check the other one?

They are only offered at:
Nanawa Mines and Halatali for Ul'dah
Muntuy Cellar and Treespeak for Gridania
Cassiopeia Hollow and Camp Baldknoll for Limsa Lominsa
They are static, and you can do as many leves as your allowance allows, without the need to wait/return to city or anything.

Thanks, I just found the Muntuy one about 20 minutes ago. What is my actual goal? Just kill as much of the leve mobs as I can until the time runs out?

Well there are two types that I know of, one is to protect an NPC, the other is just kill. You can kill as many you can within the duration, but you don't need to kill more than required to get the XP reward once time's up. But the XP for each kill is too insane to pass, so why stop? :)
