Zam: "Yoshida, did you realize that twenty five people want thief implemented? Twenty five!"
Yoshida: "Oh, well, then I guess we shouldn't do it after all..."
Zam: "No, no, you see, that's about 60% of those surveyed!"
Yoshida: "Oh... yeah... I forgot that I work on Final Fantasy fourteen for a moment there..." *solitary teardrop*

I voted for Dragoon but that's only because it's pretty much the only Melee DPS being implemented (excluding MNK), I'd love to see DRK make an appearence at some point, or at least a class that wields a Scythe, that isn't a Disciple of the Land, considering its the most badass weapon, imo.

A scythe is the most badass weapon only because it's not a weapon at all, and thus captures the imagination in ways real weapons cannot! The only time people ever actually used scythes as a weapon (excluding the times when some random peasant - a true disciple of the land - would take it up because it was the closest pointy thing) was when the tool was altered to a war scythe design and made to be essentially no different than a halberd.

Have you ever held a scythe? Because unless your opponent is about three feet tall and remains motionless at close range, you're not getting much of a hit - and even then, you'd have a hard time doing much more than (possibly severely) messing up the back of his legs unless you just said, "Ah, f*ck it, I'm using this thing as a glorified pickaxe!"

That said, few implements are as iconic as scythes, and I agree with you. Smiley: nod

I get what you're saying and I feel the same way, but the weapon of choice of the Grim Reaper seems pretty cool to me :P

All Death needs to do is touch you; the scythe is just to enhance his allegorical score and he knows it.
