Hello me and my fiance are building an AMD desktop pc. anyways I've got all the components mapped out. I'm just a little hazy on the video card I think it will run the game extremely well. Unfortunately I can't find any reviews about it would run playing FFXIV specifically. And my request is asking if anyone that knows Video Cards fairly well could tell me what to expect from this game using the following Graphics card?

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125385&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-_-na-_-na-_-na&AID=10446076&PID=3917268&SID=skim21873X801113Xa9653b739511f2c4e5f3817c5261609c

above this is the link.

that card should have no problem running the game. I play on a gigabyte factory overclocked 6850 and it runs the game pretty smooothly

Should be fine, just remember to disable Ambient Occlusion, and if you have FPS issues, look at those "drawing" graphic settings (i set mine to standard on a GTX 570).

I would rather not disable any visual properties that would make the visualization less then its maximum so do you think I should get a better card to be safe? Should be fine is not exactly what I was aiming for.

Thanks Again.

Don't waste your time with the 1G cards, get the 2gig version or spend the money on the new 7900 cards.

You most likely will not be able to use Ambient Occlusion comfortably on any set up.... Poor coding.. I run a EVGA 580 Classified at 8xQ MSAA just fine no AC.. My brother as dual EVGA 590's and still does not run ambient occlusion.
