Returning player looking for social UK LSFollow

Hey guys,
I have just come back to ffxiv after a short gap. Iam currently on the Trabia server. I played a few months back and got really into the game, however due to work commitments I was around so frquently. On returning to the game my LS had kicked me. I am desperately seeking a good LS to join.

I began leveling all my disciplines, I think PGL was my highest at just under 30. I would love to get back into the game, especially with all the changes that have happended. I was wondering if things have been getting better and are still on the up. I intend to move servers to server 10 (uk recommended) when the merge takes place. It appears from the servers that people are still playing and Ulduah seems busy too. I'm just wondering if it is worthwhile to beginh playing again, especially now that billing has commenced.

All I wanna do is start playing with like minded people so I can start playing this game.
Im 29, I have a job, I just wanna start playing final fantasy.

Please help, I dont wanna have to give up this game
Any help on these points would be great.
