I have the .exe running on my G15 that uses the FFXIV timer library I wrote. I want to make sure that the images and other resources extracted properly when I dissasembled the original files. You have to run the .exe manually, I don't have the system tray app rebuilt yet. You can also feel free to AV scan the files to make sure there isn't anything shady Smiley: smile

If you are interested in testing this send me a PM with your email address and I'll send you a zip file with the files you'll need.

The weekend got away from me, and I was home with the kids yesterday because school/daycare was closed. I will try to get the binaries off to those who have volunteered this afternoon along with instructions on how to use them.

Also just so you're ready, the program requires .NET 4.0 framework and the current version of the Logitech Gaming Software. Links below:

.NET 4.0
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/netframework/aa569263

Logitech Gaming Software (G15 Windows 7 download, you'll want to search for the G19 although I imagine it's the same download)

I replied to your e-mail... anyway I can't unzip the file. I'm pretty computer literate but I could be doing something wrong. I didn't have a problem a year ago :p

need to do it manually as the file extension is .zipped windows wont recognise it but if you open winrar/winzip and point it to the file it'll extract no problem

I had to change the extension to .zipped instead of .zip, gmail will strip zip files. Just rename the extension and you're good to go Smiley: thumbsup

I just need to find the time to write the system tray app that launches the exe. Hopefully in the next week or so.

Wint,

Running in game ATM time is maybe a millisecond off but I could take 100 pictures and I doubt I'd catch the App and the game being off. Date's correct. Everything looks good.

the time sync seems random. when i'd tested it i'd noticed it to be nearly 5 mins put in game as i'd pointed to wint.

i would theorise it something with the servers. as it seems the time discrepancy occurs when the action bar lag occurs. (those occasions where your stoneskin is at 0 seconds and still can't cast it) could just be a coincidence but i did notice that the further off the clock is the longer the delays on the action bar.

I don't think it's been more than a few game minutes off, and I'm not going to get freaked out about that. It uses the user's system time, so it's really dependent on the users' computer being in sync with their time zone's current time. I did it this way so I didn't have to do corrections based upon time zone and trying to figure out where the person is that is using the app. If I hit a time server for the current time in Japan it might be more accurate but it's a lot of fuss and bother for something that at this point really doesn't matter. Still working on the system tray applet piece and a MSI installer, hopefully will be done soon.

No rush man. I would have uploaded the pictures, but the current screens kinda boring and would likely chase off more potential users than it would gain, and from the OLD product I know quite a few people would love to have it.
