You're claiming to be picky about trying a game that absolutely bombed at launch and is now going through server merges. Oh, okay then.

But... why? Why would someone who saved their extra copy of FFXIV all this time want to just waste it so one random guy on the internet can take a quick look at the game? It makes no sense! >_<

Well, It'd be a long look since I was talking to a guy in the Tera beta about ff14 and he was telling me about the changes and such and now that I got a pc that can run it I'd like to give it a good try, I loved ff11 before they wowified it. The current crop of mmo's just don't hold my interest, I am tired of fairly generic mmo's like wow, rift, swtor and I heard ff14 is diffrent, so yeah.. I'd like to give it a try.

Also you'd do it because your nice, and good karma is never bad to have... XD

The problem with Buddy key is that it is essential a full retail code, and it only comes from Limited/Collector's Edition. To top that, there were/are several instances of people begging for one and then do a quick resale in Ebay for $10-$15 bucks.

I didn't know its a full retail code, I thought it was some sort of a trial thing. Not lying either I honestly didn't know its bascally a full retail code. **** if people want proof I actually used the code, and didn't resell I could stream me entering the code on my acct on twitch.tv with a life stream then me logging in later after the download. Its really not an issue to me to prove that I did actually use it.

It's not that we doubt your sincerity. But, there has been, what, 17 months that have gone by since the Collector's Edition was released? It's just that, by now, it seems unlikely that there is anyone left out there who will hand out their buddy pass to anyone who will ask; those have long since been harvested purposed.

Besides, you could probably pick up a copy for $20, and the first month subscription is free. And, if that's too much of a hardship, there's always free Youtube videos from fans showing off the gameplay if you just want to take a look.

Seems after checking my email and such that I had another SE account, reset the pw on it, and found out I must have used a buddy key or something on it, So I guess I am glad I didn't find one, I assume since the bdudy key is bascally a 2nd version of the game, I just have to open a sub for it and I should be golden? Where can I download the client at?
