Even given generous delays, 2.0 is hardly what I would call a year out (about 9 months now, give or take).... Hyperbole has it's place, but try not to scare off too many people with it for no better reason than to vent.
.... Full-on housing content (like your home nation but supposedly more advanced) will be coming with 2.0, which is scheduled for sometime around November.
Well, the beta, or "reboot[ing] phase," phase of 2.0 is, according to SE's timeline
, scheduled to take place onward into January of 2013. That's a ten or eleven months from today. This same chart also shows that patch 1.21 will go live between December and early February
(and, with February now ending, we see how punctual that turned out to be - and let's see whether 1.22 arrives no later than April).
At the time of that chart's creation (October 14th, 2011), the very first pieces of content were already greatly delayed. Thus, I don't know how you can believe that SE, who is already running over a month behind schedule this early in their very own timeline, will somehow run through and finish their predetermined 2.0 beta phase months ahead of schedule
, but that's what you must think, given that you say it's due "about 9 months from now... around November."
In short, I wasn't actually providing an hyperbole.
